Brazil’s Dusty Azurre: Day 8 (Scene 2)

On my last post about Brazil, I was giving you some compelling reasons on why to book a schooner tour around Paraty Bay islands.

Colorful boats

Great city views

Gorgeous mountain peaks covered with cottony clouds

Friendly fish waiting for you in the water

Warm swimmable waters

Giant boulders adding to the beauty of the beaches

Golden sand

Tons of little islands popping on the horizon

I guess these are all good reasons to get you pumped about this type of adventure.

But wait, I want to give you more reasons (or share more pictures).

The last stop was the most photogenic one.  The cloudy skies which covered us for most of the morning started to clear out. That let us take a good look at the turquoise water.  This was another boulder filled beach.  I don’t know why but I love the feeling big, smooth rocks give to the picture (a la Thailand).  Plus, friendly dogs welcomed us once we docked in the sand.  What not to love about this entire scenario.

We had a lunch stop but we weren’t allowed to get out of the boat.  I could have explored 2 or 3 more islands.  The entire experience was relaxing and adventurous at the same time.  Good conversation, delicious food and killer views added to the desire to make the trip longer.  For sure, I can do this every single day.

Well, not more writing for today.  Just enjoy the beauty of Paraty and Praia Vermelha.
