About a year and a half ago, I started this blog.
I have learned to love this website with time. I can even say I have certain emotional attachment to it. I love the stories and photos I share. I love to read your comments. I have had the opportunity to meet great people.
But, in all honesty, things have taken an undesired turn. The blog is mostly focused on travel or travel related experiences. For a person who is constantly thinking about where to go next, this shouldn’t be a problem. However, when I started to blog I adopted the motto “Sharing the beauty of life thru love, friendship and travel stories”. It is like I have been chopping the love and friendship parts of the tagline for a long time.
Yes, I wanted to share my passion for travel and motivate others to start planning their own adventures. But that was only part of the plan. My initial idea was to build a website for people who want to do things differently. For those, who do not adhere to a common set of rules and are willing to defy the status quo. Well, that is still my goal. That is why I am doing a little bit of rebranding here.
I have changed my blog tagline to “Exploring life’s off-the-beaten-path options”. In the past couple of years, I have been taking decisions that can be described as “unusual” by some. At this exact moment, I am faced with hard choices related to my work life. I think I am going to take the “unusual”, the “weird”, the “crazy” decision once again. Why? Because I believe that is where all the fun is.
So, I hope you are ready to embark on this new journey with me. Since today, I will be including more deep, soul moving articles. Don’t freak out. I am going to continue writing about my travel adventures.
Thanks for all the support you have given me. Hope we can build something better and bigger together.
