Vancouver’s Viceroy: Day 5 (Part 1)
It is time to finish relating my Vancouver’s adventures. Well, in case you have forgotten, we are on day 5 (last day of the trip).
The morning was gray and cloudy. Rain was predicted for the entire day. My husband asked me about staying at the hotel since we were considerably tired from 4 days of walking and walking around the city. I told him I was not going to spend my last day among four walls (plus that hotel in Vancouver was probably one of the most disgusting ones I have stayed in my entire life).
Well, if life gives you lemons, make lemonade. I knew exactly where to go on that rainy day. We got out of the hotel, had breakfast and took the bus to the Aquarium!!!
That is not the only option in the city for days when the sun decides to rest. The city is full of museums and other art institutions. That is what I find amazing about Vancouver. It has something for everybody. If you want to get wild in the outdoors, you can. If
you want a cultural getaway, well, you can have that too.
The visit to the Aquarium turned into a great experience. It is actually the largest aquarium in Canada. This is not a place for fish only. There are amphibians, reptiles, mammals and birds. The exhibitions are phenomenal. You can explore the Amazon, the Arctic, the tropics, etc. It is a real learning experience. I found it really fun.
I also learned I sucked at taking pictures in places like that. From more than 500 photos, about 30 are so and so. My husband took better photos this time. What else I learned? It is kind of difficult to say this but, fish can be cute too. Seriously. Just take a look at the pictures below.
As always, enjoy (next post will feature pictures of other animals)!!
