I enjoy putting together my own trips.
I get some sort of trill when I am researching hotels, deciding how to get to point B from Point A and finding the most interesting spots to visit on a destination.
However, there is a thing I have to admit. Even using all the tricks under my sleeve, sometimes I am not able to put together a trip at a cheaper price than travel agencies.
A lot of these agencies have been in business for decades and that is the reason why they have an enormous purchasing power. They can easily offer a lot of bang for your buck!
As a matter of fact, the best travel deal of my entire life came from an agency. I went to Hawaii for $400 (price per person, included flight from Los Angeles, six nights’ accommodation and breakfasts). I have been to Thailand and Argentina on pretty good deals too.
That is why I was so eager to take a look at the holiday packages offered by Webjet. Anyway, I have travel on my mind most of the time (after food, of course).
Webjet is an online travel agent that lets customers compare flights, car hire, accommodation and much more worldwide. And, that is not all. They offer affordable travel packages which include flights, 4 – 5 start accommodation as well as meals and other benefits.
Let’s take a look at where Webjet can take you.
Once I entered their site, my eyes moved instantly to the China holiday packages. Those are some of the packages I am more familiar with since I am constantly monitoring them. Since I visited Shanghai, I have wanted to go back to China.
I took a look at the Classic China package. It includes flights from Sydney or Melbourne to Beijing, 5 start accommodation, most meals, entry to sites, transportation between cities and professional tour guide for $999.
I do not know about you but to me, that is a great deal. That is comparable to the best prices I have seen offered from Los Angeles (the time to flight from Sydney to Beijing is similar to the flight time from Los Angeles to Beijing). The plus in here is that the accommodations are 5 stars. I have seen similarly priced deals but offering 3 – 4 star accommodation.
In addition, I took a look at the Vietnam holiday deals (another of my dream destinations). The 10 day Highlights of Vietnam package includes international airfares, transfers, breakfast daily, in-depth sightseeing, overnight Halong Bay cruise, superior accommodation and more for $1,599.
Each package has its own page with details on what you get, the highlights of the trip, customer reviews and how to book. In addition, there is a section called fine print (please, read before booking).
On top of everything I have mentioned, Webjet offers the opportunity to travel now and pay later. You have 24 months to pay for your trip with no interest rate (make sure to understand this option before booking).
Webjet offers packages to Japan, Cambodia, India, Africa, Europe, Bali and more! I will stop mentioning places for now since things are getting too tempting for me. Make sure you take a good look at their packages!
What is the best travel deal you have booked?
This post was brought to you thanks to Webjet. All opinions expressed in here are my own.
